Mine have been in a crappy mood too - didn't actually associate that with the uber molt !I know what you're talking about: Grumpy ducks with, what looks like, broken feathers and bald spots. And boy are they grumpy!!!

Where are these silly videos found? I’ve never seen anything so silly! The record here stands at 115 grams, that is 4.05 ounces. A triple yolk egg, laid by Blanca Duck who was observed having a rather silly walk on that day…
Was Misty the white and grayish Duck, and she is a Runner? She is very pretty.Talking about first eggs, but first let me introducing the newest member of the »laying sisters«, Misty Duck:
Misty laid her first egg on Thursday, here is a comparison of a normal sized Runner duck egg (left), an egg from the white panzer squadron (middle) and Misty's first one:

That egg weights a whopping 20 grams, i guess that is an interesting product for "Weight Watchers international"…
I want to see a picture of a molting duck please.I have 18 »laying sisters« and i collect between 10 to 15 eggs per day, with two ducks definitely not laying now due to a hard mold - those poor girls look like they've fallen into a plucker and forbade any photos. So there is not one egg per day per duck , it is closer to 0.8 eggs per day per duck over the long run.
I was going to start as thread on Damn Ugly Molts but one of my girls looked so so so bad I thought I'd get told I wasn't looking after them properly.
Yes.
That bad !
I’ve thought that very thing, except it was a really dirty booty hen that just happened to walk through a video I filming. I have two girls that have notoriously dirty butt feathers. I can’t keep them clean and I just said “fuhgettaboutit!”

And I am still laughing at white panzer squadron !Talking about first eggs, but first let me introducing the newest member of the »laying sisters«, Misty Duck:

Katharina Duck was so cranky during here hard molt this year she was beating up one of her sister ducks because the waterer wasn't filling up quickly enough. She ran around like an angry boxer, leaving a trail of feathers behind…Mine have been in a crappy mood too - didn't actually associate that with the uber molt !

Have you never heart of »Monty Python«? - My personal favorite is "The life of Brian"!Where are these silly videos found? I’ve never seen anything so silly!
That's why i named her Misty! - Her feathers look like the mist in the morning. And yes, there is a lot of Runner Duck in her but i have no clue who are Mom and Dad as Pinball Duck grabbed every egg she could get her bill on and shoved it under her fluffy butt. I am not sure, but Nona Duck might be her (grand-)mother because she shows some of Nona's behavior and the way she is talking is so "Nona".Was Misty the white and grayish Duck, and she is a Runner? She is very pretty.
