-10 (Celsius) today and the birdies are not phased at all. I've just made sure they have extra fatty and good foods.
Tonight will be the coldest I think and after that temps will rise again, but to be honest I think they are quite happy that everything is dry. Just like the rest of us.
Still very cold (for Scotland), but they are still happy.
I've seen them feather picking little Buttercup again these last two days though, but this time I shall nip it in the bud and put some repellent on her straight away tomorrow. I just had to bring the bottle in over night to defrost.
Hopefully that will stop them before it becomes a habit.
They are looking lovely though, and seem to carry on with business as usual.
