My mail lady did a drive by drop off!!!!!

That is totally ridiculous, careless and inexcusable. I would hav jumped in my vehicle and chased the wench down with the box she threw out and made her open it! she would have also gotten a pice of mind, a complaint filed against her and a claim filed with the PO for replacement and so forth.

That is so sad...sorry you lost so many of the eggs.

PS : Chuck Norris is a wonderful real human being. I have had the pleasure of meeting him several times. I really like the man.

I agree. File a formal report. That is just unacceptable! I rarely knock, but I always hand deliver packages to the door that are too big to fit in the box.

ETA: Bring the box and scrambled eggs with you when you go. Demand to talk to the postmaster immediately. If they say he's not there, supervisor.

We are NEVER to throw packages from our car. The guy that trained me would occasionally gently toss a package (maybe 1-2ft) from his window on to the back of someones car if he knew it wasn't fragile, but I'm not even comfortable with that. The one time I put a package on the ground without getting out of my car is b/c they had two big mean barking dogs there so I leaned my body as far out the window as I could and set it on the ground in their garage before they could come back around and bite me!

Wow! I jut spent the last half hour catching up on this thread.

Wayne, you are just great!!

I loved the videos, especially the Laurel & Hardy one!

BYC is such a great place, I just love it!!

I sure hope everything goes well today! I'll join that posse too!!

This is a great one, you should send the chicken police after her!!

Send a formal complaint to the postmaster general of your state. There is no need for such sloppy bull crap from the post office, and you can bet your bottom dollar that the postmaster at your local office has some kind or personal rapport with your carrier. I had to do that a while back. you won't get a reasonable response locally.

I must really be blessed in my small town. Our UPS driver does not drive to our house, he KNOWS where we work and delivers the fragile packages to us personally at our desks! The post office calls first thing in the AM when my chicks arrive and tells me they are there....of course the chicks are telling me you can hear them in the background. There is no excuse for this crud. SIC EM!!!!!
