It is important how shipments are handled. In submitting complaints, however, we need to be careful to not communicate as though we are overly picky or unreasonable. Otherwise, the USPS might get the impression they should not be willing to deliver eggs, chicks or chickens. The expectation that a package be 
placed at at delivery location, rather than thrown, is simply reasonable. And it is very important!
