I am not positive, but I don't think too many people around here are getting welfare. But you never know the way the economy is right now. I never thought about not getting stuff delivered around the first. But maybe now I will!!!

This was years ago and she had to get assistance for a little while. She just always phrased things in a way that was funny.. It's hard to express that in writing , But was really funny in person.

But seriously , Around the 1st week in the month all the ss and disability checks are coming in and the post office is usually crazy. I don't mean to make light of anybody's problems --I've just always used humor to keep me going .

I really do feel bad for Baldie and I really did get mad at how the carrier threw the eggs out.
Below is a link to my "theme song" I sometimes go and listen to it when things are going all wrong-- makes me feel just a little bit better.

I use music , my sense of humor and my chickens like anti- depressants- But the anti-depressent would probaly be cheaper

Thanks for the song link Wayne!! I have never heard it before, but it made me smile!! This whole thing stinks and even when I take care of the witch form the post office, it still isn't going to really make things any better. I just wish people weren't so darn stupid sometimes! I have a lot of consideration, I just wish others had the same. I could never just chick someones package out my window, regardless of what is inside of it. I think what hurts the most is I am "practicing" with my own mutt eggs roght now in the bator and I see what actually was or could have been inside those eggs, my son also who has been by my side every day, candling and helping me flip the eggs. We didn't want to screw up on good eggs we bought. And to have someone screw it up for you just S*#ks!!!

I would hate to think what my kids would say to that mail carrier but We are Good Gracious southern people BUT--We also like a good scrap-- The police would probaly have to be called or since it's the post office -homeland security i guess.

Yeah, I had to calm my 10 yr old down at first, after that the tears came. He said a few things out of anger. I had to act calm myself and explain why it would not be right to do to her. (when really he was just reading my mind) but I am the parent and I still have to set a good example. Thats why the hubby decided it would not be good to bring him to the post office. We will take a picture instead. Just in case things get a little out of hand. We try to shelter him from those types of things.

I remember when the donkey in Shrek did that and I was the only one in the theater that laughed out loud.

Nah, I'm with ya! My 6 year old son has a 45 year old mom and an almost 50 year old dad. We laugh at a lot of stuff his friends' parents don't get.
