My mail lady did a drive by drop off!!!!!

Hello Chrissie and all, I just found and read this entire post. I am so sorry the mail carrier did this. I received eggs from Marie Martin and had a 98% success rate so I'm not surprised that the last 3 eggs are viable. I was looking at names for your chicks if they hatch:

Roget's II: The New Thesaurus
Main Entry: survive
Part of Speech: verb
Definition: To exist in spite of adversity.
Synonyms: come through, last, persist, pull through, ride out, weather

Wish I could find a website to match a name to the above synonyms.

Wanted to know if the mail lady delivered the other shipment of eggs or did you just pick them up at the post office? In any case, her days sound like they're numbered. Hope so. Keep your chin up, I'm rooting for you!

Oh my gosh how awful. I have been very lucky with our postman. Other have had issues with him but he is alway very nice to me. I do give our postman , trashman See' candy tins every Christmas. So we seem to get good service all year. Not sure if it is because we remember them every year or not

I hope you get your egg replaced. Did the peron mark the box a fragile?

If they all make it, you should name them crash, bam, boom

If you get any roosters, I think you should name one of them Cochise! I got this off wikipedia:

"Cochise was the last great American Indian chief to die free and absolutely unconquered. When several members of his family were captured, tortured, and hanged by the U.S. Cavalry, Cochise declared war on the entire Southwest and went on an unholy rampage, a warpath to end all warpaths. He and his warriors drove out thousands of settlers. Cochise the avenger, fearless and resolute, attacked everything in his path with an unbridled fury."

Maybe you could train him as a mailcarrier attack rooster.

I'm kidding about that!

Of course I am! (I really am)

Cassandra (Sic 'em, Cochise!)

KIDDING!

Hello! I actually want to pick them up. I told the higher up I am dealing with that I don't want her to deliver packages to my house anymore and that she is not allowed in my driveway!!

I do the same, as well as my sons bus driver, teacher, etc. I have not had a holiday to leave her a gift yet, but I won't be now anyway. Thanks, Chrissie

i'd of went off on the post master....what if that were an un-replaceable family heirloom....i know our mail lady pulls in the drive and honks the horn for deliveries like that and if noone comes out to recieve it she leaves a card in the box or on the door for pickup at the post office.sorry to hear how careless and disrespectful your delivery person is.
