My Mean Neighbors are taking the next step! RANT!!!

As if living next door to some animals is as bad as living next to a migrant worker villiage like I do. Some people will complain about anything. What are these people complaining about? The fact that you have animals, or what?

With holding response until CS tells us what the nieghbor claims the problem is.

Always want to come down on the chicken people side, but you never know.

Three sides to every story, their side, your side and the truth.

IMHO it doesn't really matter what they are mad about, if there are no ordinances barring the OP from having her animals, and the idiots haven't called the animal control because of mistreatment, I think they need to shut their traps.

But long story short---- you don't know what has or hasn't happened?

Honestly..i would not worry about it at all...
If you are legal.. then dont stress it...

If they are legal and non abusive, what has happened is moot.

Yeah. Realistically it doesn't matter if they are fueding like the Hatfields & McCoys. If the OP is legal, why in the world would they get a lawyer to make them give up their animals. Sounds to me like those neighbors need a time out chair and no dinner before bed.

Hi and thanks for all the responses. We do have a lawyer and he now has our county ordinances, noise ordinances, copy of covenants, copies of some of the HOA minutes (one of which contains voting on the changing of the covenants to disallow farm animals and it was voted down by majority vote), a list of things I have done over the years to try to please the neighbors.

Someone suggested calling Animal Control on myself and I am going to do this. Will let everyone know how it goes. Thanks again!
