My Meatie Pen

I doubt it considering the mess and lack of grass that will remain once the CX birds are gone...

I was thinking like in Texas - where we park in the yard and sometimes you need more parking

We just slide on our boots and go where ever our feet lead us around here! Course with all the other critters most of us keep, the chicken poop is the least of our worries!

you're preaching to somebody that if it exists... has raised it...

but the fact of the matter is, that regardless what I would walk through, barefoot or not- as I once did... If I'm having a party, what shows more of a lack of responsibility than forcing my guests to walk through that from their cars to the house- or common area?

Btw, since you don't seem to mind what you walk through... what's nonsense feel like as it squeezes through from between your barefoot toes?

ETA- this stupid thing replaced the word C-O-W-S-H-I-T with 'nonsense'.

Well, we don't have parties. We live far enough away from family that we're left alone. I may look into moving the pen to a different location for it to be permanent. We shall see once this batch is gone.

Do your chickens have this problem if not PLEASE tell me what you do I was hert broken when I had to do the deed I tried so hard to have them have a good life but I ws told it was better to take their life since if the one could get better it would only happen again and agian if.

I was not told they were meat birds but knowing me I would of still tried to give them a longer life.

Curiously about yours.

Yes they are Cornish Cross and they aren't meant to have a long life. Leg problems can be something they develop. I've had to put down 3 so far because of leg issues but the rest are doing great. I make them walk to eat and drink. They get plenty of exercise.
