My mom's HOME from surgery now...

I'm so glad to hear it, Ninja! I'm so happy for you both that it looks like she is free of lymphatic involvement!

My mom is a breast cancer survivor as well.

It's hard to see our parents weakened when they have been pillars of strength through our lives.

You are now her pillar of strength. May she be comforted by your presence and love abound help her heal. God bless you and your family.

Love in Christ,
Gretchen

I hope the rest of the surgery went well today. I know that things can be stressful during surgery and recovery. My dear mom had breast cancer 15 years ago and unfortunately it did involve the lymphatic system. She made it 5 years cance free and then it had metastisized in her lung. That was way more worse than the breast ordeal! When the chemo and radiation quit working and she was tired of fighting, we stopped treatments and she passed away and 10 years of treatments. Although we are all happy that she id make it the last 10 years of her life because she was able to meet all her grandchildren before she left us.

Prayers go out to you and your family during this difficult time. Keep the hope even when it seems that there isn't any reason to have it.

Hope she is all done by now and you are getting some much needed rest. Continued prayers for all of you!
