My Mom has been very ill for quite some time. She has Fibromyalgea and serious scar tissue from a hysterectomy some years back. We had attributed her cronic pain and inability to eat more than a very small amount at a time to that for many months and test after test came back inconclusive until just a few days ago she had a stomach screening where they used a scope to go down and examine the lining of her stomach.
The results from the biopsies came back today. She has stomach cancer. She was devistated.
I can't tell how well my Dad is handling the situation because he has always been very stoic no matter what for the most part. My Grandmother I am certain will fall apart as well as my Mom's sister. This leaves me to be the strong one for support.
I have thus far been able to maintain my composure and remain calm and rational. I pray that I can continue to do so.
