My Mother's Cancer. She has passed. 1/28/2011

Pumpkin my thoughts and prayers are with you and your mom. We are going through almost the same thing here with mine. She goes in for a radiation patch on Thursday for ocular melanoma. It sounds like your mom's docs are moving quickly and that's good. Mine has been waiting since September to get fully diagnosed and all the tests ran. Keep positive thoughts.

Prayers said for you and your family. My mother had Alzheimers they said, situational depression I still suspect following 3 major deaths of loved ones in less than a year and my father's illness, because she had her lucid moments. But whatever it was was very hard and yes, stress brought a lot of it out....

We just found Jacque's sisters cancer has now gone widespread, so please pray for her, and her family and friends. She's fought so valiantly and non complaining the whole time. It's tough on us all.

Took Mom to the Oncologist today to hear the results of her pet scan. Did not get the answers we were wanting to hear.
The cancer is wide spread throughout her stomach and also is effecting some of the limphnodes around her stomach as well as the fatty tissue which the stomach rests on just above the liver. She also has a dark area on one lung which they are not sure is cancer and could just be inflamation. We were told it most likely will not be possible to completely remove and cure.
We both are devistated at this point. My family needs your prayers now more than ever.
She sees a surgen on friday at Emory.
