Welp, I bought all ladies and sure enough the EE is a roo. He’s only 6 weeks right now but it’s pretty clear by his feathering/coloration and bright comb she’s a he. Is anyone in Texas looking for a EE roo. He looks like he’s going to be beautiful! He has a great temperament thus far as d let’s me hold him and mess with him without fuss.

I would absolutely keep him but my chickens are only about 20ft away from our family owned business office and I can’t risk customers hearing crowing on the phone.

Just curious: why can’t you risk customers hearing a roo on the phone?

We are in sales, it’s unprofessional. Also, it’s on my in-laws property and it’s the family business. Not my rules, and I definitely don’t want to overstep the boundaries.
Gotcha. I was just wondering because not only did I have roos growing up, but the people behind us and beside us raised American game chickens and they crow all day long and my dad ran his business out of the house 😉.
