My Muscovies are trying to pip - Pictures

One is 4 or 5 days old now, the other is just two days old. The older one is the one that has what looks like wry neck. Both have had Nutri-Drench and Rooster Booster B12. I also have an injectable B, but have no idea how much I should give them.

FWIW, I have successfully tubed baby pigeons, peachicks, poults and chicks, just haven't done ducklings.

The ones that are TWO days old I would NOT tube feed they have the yolk to feed them right now. Are they holding there heads up? If so try soaking the food and see if they can eat that way.

search for Wry Neck - Confused about Treatment, on byc it should help you....
Would you mind posting a treatment plan for a duckling that weighs 40 grams (1.41 ounces)? Then I'll go buy everything I need and try it.

The wry neck one ate yesterday when I held food in fron of it, but this morning it looked like this:

The other one is a little interested in food and water, but it's the one with the curled feet and crooked leg, so I'm trying to get that sorted. Right now it has it's feet taped flat and together, plus it has hobbles. This duckling does not have splay leg, the leg want to bend under the body which causes it to roll onto it's side or back, so I've made a little foam box for it.

NICE, keep giving him Vitamin B, he should pull out of it.

WOW, the one has a bad case of Wry neck. Don't worry if it does not eat, it won't until he gets his head straighten out. Keep putting the vitamins in him.

Give him one capsule of Vitamin E, a dab of Selenium if you don't have it don't worry about it. One Drop of Polyvisol three times a day. It may take a few days before you see any improvements but food is not a major concern right now. He needs his vitamins....

Okay, so I'll go get some niacin and/or brewers yeast, vitamin e, poly vi sol (no iron). Anything else? Timing couldn't be worse, lol. All alone today, have to get groceries, poultry feed and a truck load of hay.

What else do I need?

I think that should do it, he's got a vitamin deficience just need to get him back on track. Now he may get worst before he gets better but just stick with it....
