OMG, don't the beat up on each other? I just had two that decided to be Capitan Hooks and the one injured my Phoenix sooo bad he's now Blind, GRRR. So mad at him too because he's a Silver Phoenix but if he can't get along, I'm gonna need to get rid of him... GORGEOUS Omg, my silver is Gorgeous but the Golden Phoenix has been around a lot longer then him so he better shape up!!!!

Did you find the name of it?

Note: working backwards through the replies as BYC is acting odd.

Have you used Oxine? I love this stuff, it's great for killing any kind of bacteria, viruses etc. Helps with respiratory infections as well, I spray my chickens right in the face with it, then make the dose stronger for cleaning purposes..

Blind in both eyes? Funny My two Phoenix boys are blind in one eye.

The Guinea boy with them rules the roost, and they're pretty young, so no fighting.

My word what do you do with all those chickens? lol

no just blind in one eye, I was looking at him yesterday after having him in my house for a week because of the damage the silver one did and sure enough you can't see his pupil, covered with that white cloudiness..

Sell eggs
you must have a big customer base, Mine is zilch everyone wants me to give them away. and I usually do sometimes.
sorry about your roos eye.
My NN has frost bite on his comb, looks like the swelling is going down just hoping now it heals with out losing any of it.

Aww thats sad, hows it doing?

Well I got him from a friend in which he had it already, I have had him for two years I keep him in a separate cage with a heating lamp all threw the winter. Not sure if it could come back or start up again or how that works.. but he stays the warmest above all the others. LOL

He's a favorite..
