My Muscovies are trying to pip - Pictures

Happy New Year!
At 1 am neither duckling had progressed, so I started with #1 and got it out of the shell, but I could tell that #2 hadn't absorbed it's yolk, so it's still sitting in the bottom half of it's shell.

They look so precious, how are they doing? other wise?

Thanks... Pretty sure the one that hasn't absorbed the yolk yet will die, but the other one is starting to hold it's head up, so there's some hope for it.

Glad to hear your seeing improvement in the one, is the other one not absorbing the yolk at all?

It looks like most is absorbed. Looking down the gap of the shell it looks like something the size of about three peas is still there.

Sounds like it's still working on absorbing then. I'm hoping for the best and #1 will have a buddy. any more signs of pipping?

Just took another peek and it looks like more yolk has absorbed. No signs of pipping from the nest or the incubator.
