My Muscovies are trying to pip - Pictures

Well I got him from a friend in which he had it already, I have had him for two years I keep him in a separate cage with a heating lamp all threw the winter. Not sure if it could come back or start up again or how that works.. but he stays the warmest above all the others. LOL

He's a favorite..
Can he walk around okay with out toes? did you ever see the video aoxa did of her hen who lost her toes to frost bite?

The deceased ducklings are at the UC Davis in Tulare... should have preliminary report this evening.

Just one 40 acre fire about 30 miles away, but it is hot, dry and brown here...

Be safe, and hope you don't have to evacuate. Any talk about that around you? I often wonder [we live smack in the middle of the woods] what we would do if we had to evacuate? I can see me know loading everyone into crates to leave. We do have a mt. river down below us so if it did get to the point of running for our lives at least we'd be able to take the water fowl to the river, not ideal but better than burning up. I hope they get this fire out by you.

Thanks... The fire by us is 100% contained, so no real danger for anyone here or there. Our property is on the valley floor, so chance of a fire here is slim to none... Except for fires caused by birds pooping on the power lines, just had one of those a few weeks ago and Cal Fire was here in a jiffy to put it out. The Captain told us that we have a good fire break, so I think we're pretty safe. :D
