Get as much video of her harassing you and make sure to show that you are well within the local ordinance. Take evidence to local police office and file a complaint and request a restraining order or a no trespass order. If you can afford if get a good surveillance camera and recorder.

Amazon has an AMAZING one that isn’t all the expensive. We have it for other reasons and don’t need it anymore. But we were able to view it on our tv and on our phone. We also were able to save video clips. We also were able to buy extra storage. We didn’t really need the extra storage but we were sure how long the problem would go on for. So we needed all of it for documenting.

I have six hens, under the county limit. When they lay, they sing egg songs. Sometimes I can dissuade them with a little shouting or feed, but normally that’s what they do.

My neighbor is on me constantly to shut them up. She, I swear truth, videoed a recording of them claiming they were louder than a jet plane flying into the nearby airport. I asked her if she’d appreciate me videoing her dinner parties for sound. She denies she has any.

Anyway. The rule in our county is that ppl can make noise until 10 pm. Everyone puts up with others leaf blowes, construction noise, adolescent musical tries and so forth because there’s not a choice about it. And as my birds are legal, same situation.

She keeps insisting on more talking about it, and I think I am done, but she is just the biggest Karen ever.

Should I just ignore her from now on?

Yes that system seems to be a good bargain. However this ZOSI 8CH 1080P Security Camera System Outdoor with 1TB Hard Drive H.265+ 8 Channel 5MP Lite Video DVR Recorder with 8X 1080P HD 1920TVL Weatherproof CCTV Cameras From the same seller might be a better deal. It comes with 4 more cameras. i mean you only save $48 if you buy the cameras separately after but I would spend the money to get it all at once.

But in all ernest, I would recomend people send just a little bit more for a PoE with NVR setup. ZOSI 5MP H.265+ PoE Home Security Camera System Outdoor Indoor, 8CH 2K PoE NVR with 1TB HDD You are not relying on how long the cable is (within reason). Not to mention when you are drilling holes in your house, all you have to drill is a small hole to pass just the wire through.

Same (mostly) as the one you linked but $25 cheaper. Of course the one you link to has a $25 coupon, but those coupons are not always there.

Still the one you linked to is a good deal. And if you say it is working good them Awesome.

Yes I agree with you. Price is definitely a consideration and like I said I definitely the one you linked to. But it is hard to say or tell people to get those type of setups even if I think it's a good system and deal. Why because I have already had a system like that and not a day went by that I wished I had just spent a bit more.

I have spent lots of time, money and effort on upgrades that is I would have spent more upfront I wouldn't have had to do all the figuring out and getting things to work together.

So I always tell people to look at getting a IP cams with PoE NVR system. At the same time I hope that they don't think I'm pushing it on them. Hard to convey through writing. So I always give a range of options that I myself would actually consider buying or using.

The system comes with 1TB of external storage, which we wanted because we didn’t know how long we would need to keep record. We did eventually have to buy another TB of storage but we needed to keep EVERYTHING we had on the 1st. The system isn’t slow when recording. There isn’t glitches, very very clear, and like I said the night vision is amazing. The videos on the reviews on the system is very accurate. It gave us an idea of what we needed and sure enough it was clear and immediately came in whenever lights weren’t on. It does not need WiFi to run and record to the hard drive. Which is what we wanted because we didn’t want anyone to hack into the system. More because of our kids being in the recordings. The app that is connected to it is easy to use and along with the system. You hook the system up to a tv or a monitor and you can always view it. We did have a camera outside even though we needed it inside when we got them, but when we moved one outside, it handled negative weather and rain and even the heat from the sun.

I honestly couldn’t ask for a better system. It was EVERYTHING we needed and then some. Super easy to use and changing the storage is very easy. So their is cords to the cameras but again, you have that if you don’t have them hooked up to Wi-Fi, which we did not want. But the cords are VERY long but it is easy to just zip tie the extra cords close to the monitor so you don’t have a lot hanging around. My husband and I had it set up and recording in less than 30min

Pg&e was just over here. I didn’t call them, they just came by to look at the wires in the neighborhood. Karen’s occluded bamboo was noted by him as something she’d have to remove before it gets another 2 feet into the high voltage wires.

Presumably they have been to her house to tell her the same thing.
