My new babies

Sneaky things aren't they. I had one of my OEGB hens think up above our home under our spare goose house was a good place to nest can't even see under there let alone get anything out her being so tiny she managed to get under there well last year when she did it my husband jacked the house up and we got her and her 11 eggs out and I set her up inside the coop. This year my husband had a heart attack and hasn't been able to do much while recupping and something got up under there and killed her. Most likely a weasel or mink since the space is so tiny. I sure hope yours will be safe nesting under your shop.

I hope they will be safe under there as well. The yard is fenced in around the shop, but that means nothing. My husband killed a possum a couple of weeks ago that we caught walking along the top of the fence. There are 2 beams that run horizontally it looks like they have somehow wedged themselves in between them so we can't see a thing. I'm just hopi g they're not both trying to sit on the same nest. And I'm really hoping that they haven't somehow exchanged duck and chicken eggs. I would hate to lose the ducklings from having the eggs mixed up within the clutches of eggs.

Our BO hen came up missing about a week and a half ago. Our duck just started disappearing off and on a few days ago. We were gone almost all day yesterday so we went out later than usual to feed them. We had already walked back inside and I just happened to look out and see the hen. I only have 5 BOs so it was a complete shock to count 5 after only counting 4 for the past week and a half. This is my first experience with a broody duck. I'm not completely sure she is sitting, but it does seem very suspicious.

I knew it wasn't a blue lol. Looks like I've got a real treasure on my hands. I'm so glad I was the first person to buy from the. There was another person who came up as soon as I got done buying them. I'm pretty certain he/she would for sure have been gone

You mean blue because Lilac isn't used in Ducks.
