I finally got home from work and headed out to see what all had been done today. Once of my Icelandic chickens, Eldvör, greeted me as I walked out the door.

She told us all about the men that came and didn't even offer her any treats. She immediately took us out to see what the treat-less men had done to her pasture.

The forms for the slab is almost done and the drain line that was miss-laid is being changed. If the weather holds, tomorrow could be cement day!

Due to the extreme cold we are having Styrofoam insulation placed under the cement to keep the ice from coming up through the ground and freezing the water lines.

After we surveyed the work (and giggled about the progress) Eldvör walked us back to the gate where we parted ways. Thanks for the tour friend
