I like it but it seems kinds small . . . was it a rabbit hutch that you converted into a chicken hutch ? Its looks really good though

Well she has 4 friends that are in the top part, having a nap! lol

But, they don't stay in there, they would'n't have anought room! They stay in a HUGE rabbit hutch in the frontyard! lol That is their "Sun Coop." Right now I have a hurt chicken in there!

That is exactly what I've been trying to finish building since last Fall for my Silky pair! Poor Esmerelda, she needs the peace and space and I never got to the part of placing half of the wire on theirs when winter set in so she's been housed w/the bantam chicks till I gave that entire flock away last month and now housed w/the BO half grown chicks. Right now those pullets and cockerel are a bit overwhelming for her!

I was unsure of how to do the top/face/front w/doors...thanks for the pic/ideas

Your welcome! Glad you like them! Aw! What color is your silkie hen? Do you have any pics of the chicks that you had? No, we built it from scratch! But, we did have a picture off the internet that kinda helped!

oh thats good that they have a bigger coop, That was such a smart idea to build that Sun coop
