My new Cochin (maybe frizzled) baby......UPDATED....Now 12 Days

Here's my new lil fuzzball, just hatched sometime yesterday while I was at work (darn it)!

Only one to hatch out of 6 eggs, and she will probably start thinking she's human as much as I'm carrying her around the house with me!

The eggs came from the Whatchagot Swap thread, courtesy of therealsilkiechick. Cochin cross, possibly frizzled.

Here she is now at 5 days.......do you think she'll be a frizzle?

Won't know till it starts feathering out,i hope she it though..

There will be no doubt when her wing feather first start to come in because they curl back immediately. I was able to tell by day 4-5 but one of my two frizzle bantam cochins feathered in extremely quickly. She is only 12 days old and her wing and feet feathers are about 2 - 2 1/2 inches long and curl a bunch. Here's a photo of her at about 6 days:

Saffron is now 12 days old - here is the latest pic of her. Still trying to figure out if she is going to be a frizzle or not. Her feathers just don't seem to curve in OR out!!! What do you think?

I would say she is not a frizzle

. Mine curl way out, no question on day 7 which were frizzles and which weren't. Cute chick
