My new duckling is breathing funny

Please help me!!!! I just got my duckling (Duckie) almost 3 weeks ago. Today he is acting like he’s kinda choking/having a hard time breathing. It sounds like when he breathes he has water in his chest. He’s not eating...he just had a bath and did fine, swan and played. He’s pooping water. What do I do? Is he ok? This just started about 20 mins ago

What is the duckling's normal water set up? A pic might help. What food does it eat? Also, what are we looking at in the pic?

The pic is kind of showing his age. He/she is still on chick started. (Non-medicated) he/she has some feathers. Just the normal water set up. I Change his water/bedding several times a day

You should (if you haven't already) read through this duckling care guide. It has good tips for water set up. As well, here is a pic of what I started with. And, then I made a bigger one for them now.

@chickens really also has a good water set up. I am not sure what a 1 qt waterer is, but if it is for chicks, it is not good for ducklings.

Sounds like he needs to run around a bit?..Possibly your water container isn't good enough for the amount he can eat in feed?..Choke happens..
Feed him a few peas or tomato?...

Thank you guys so much!!! He seems to be doing better. Maybe he just ingested too much water at bath time! Looking forward to being part of this group
