Love your feeder! I am going to keep that in mind if I ever want new ones.

And to be honest, I found that automatic waterer to be a royal pain. I ended up just taking off the lid and filling up the bucket. My chickens drink out of it just fine and haven't fallen in or anything. I put a cement block and a 6x6 block next to it and they just climb up to drink. Now, if my girls were really little I wouldn't do this.

Your feeder looks like something I could do myself. I love my husbands power tools, but I'm still a bit nervous around them. I worry that I'll lop a finger off or poke my eye out -

I've seen the ones at the store, but they look like something I would get mad at the first time I went to clean them. Your looks like easy filling and easy cleaning!

I hit the hook, ate the sinker/bobber and all the line on this pole!

I am so digg'n this site and all the information. I find myself trying to finish all my work (at work) to have 15 extra minutes checking out all the information on this site.

As for the power tools, I have learned how to pull nails, use a staple gun, mider saw and table saw... oh and my dad would be so proud - learned how to read a tape measure properly -

The framing nailer is too heavy to hold up, so I leave that to DH.
