The girls are the chicken feather pullers. Imagine that.

They are showing their naughty side. Is it because the chickens are different birds?

Maybe, My Runners and Buffs don't rile him at all but if they get close he'll touch each one on the back as they run by like he is counting them lol But the chickens and geese are fair game if they slip up and get too close.

I find that really interesting. You'd think they'd just ignore eachother but that isn't the case. I guess it's no different than how people interact in larger groups. There's always some negative behavior.

I think so, because they are young. The chickens really aren't bothering the ducks. It is the other way around. But, it is funny. A chicken will look at one of the ducks through the fence and be like - um, you better back off kiddo!

That's interesting, too. Because it's a one sided game of antagonistic behavior. In some of the stills you took I definitely could see the duck girls giving the one chicken the stink eye.
