My new rooster friend

Never showed birds, but it does look to me as though he was dubbed. Even Easter Eggers usually have larger wattles than that. I agree with @The Phantom as to his age, and retract my earlier statement about the patchy coloration of his tail.

Below is a Crele Old English Game. It's a pretty common breed (for a game rooster that's not a bantam) and I suspect that's what he is. (though your boy has prettier feathers, without a doubt.)

EDT: I can't seem to get a very good look at his comb, though, so it may not be dubbed. Is it a smooth line across the top? If it is, he was almost certainly dubbed. If it wasn't, then he has a pea comb and may very well be a game/Easter Egger cross.
I definitely see a pea comb. Maybe try zooming in on the first picture?

Yes, he has a pea comb and is not dubbed. His legs also look a little yellowish. Both rule him out as Old English Game. But he could be an American game, which often have pea combs. Or a cross. Whatever he is he's a nice looking bird and I hope you find him a nice new home with some hens to keep him company.

I am learning so much from all of your replies....thank you!!

Here is a closer pic of his comb =)
