My new Silkie hen

    She was given to me last week. I'm not sure exactly what color she is but she sure is cute. Poor thing has deformed feet but gets around all right. She has adopted my broodie hen who has 3 chicks. Surprisingly, the broodie is cool with the silkie hanging out with her and her babies.

    Shes pretty. I have a silkie that has one foot like that. Seems to get along real well. I wonder what has caused it? Congratulations too!

    I haven't decided on a name yet. I'm waiting to see what her personality is like.

    I'm curious about the feet too. The lady I got her from has a black silkie with normal feet. She's gets around fine so I'm not too concerned about it.
