ok, as of 3 o clock pm she is only 2 cm along and has a really bad head ache. Last my mom heard they were having a u/s done.

Myself. I am worried.
Why did they have her stay(granted she is 34 going on 35 in May. OLD I guess

) if she was only 1.5cm dilated this morning when she came in? I know my obg would have sent me home anything less than 3cm. I am sure her panic attacks might have something to do with it...definitely the headache. She doesnt have a history of HBP. No GD.

She has never been keen on hospitals. Long history of stupid(1970s) kid injuries. And her best friend and several school mates died when she was in high school. So she spent a lot of time in them growing up. Not for happy occasions.

Right now I am thinking of driving down tonight and camping out down there in the waiting room. Just to be there for her.. If she decides she wants to see anyone. Right now she still likes her dh.

Your first post said her water broke at 3am? If so, that's why they kept her. She's "on the clock" now. Sounds like she may end up with a c-section.

They get scared if you go a certain amount of time with your waters broken. *sigh*​

ok, latest is she is 3cm and has had the epi. and is a nervous wreck.
Will not let her dh leave the room.

Which she has told mom is "very nice and large"
My BIL told mom that the doctors are a bit worried since she is progressing so slowly.

I told my mom to call me no matter what the time.

it took me forever to dilate and become effaced...
I was in the hospital from Thursday and had Mike on Saturday.
I got Pitocin...

still nothing. My mom is a wreck because she hasnt head anything.
And I am glad I didnt go to the hospital she is at to have my dd.

They have a maternity dept concierge. The woman took my name and that I was looking to speak with my sister. Put the phone down for nearly 15 minutes then hung up on me. I called back, they dont have a direct number to the maternity ward... and was put through to voice mail. "Leave a name and number and we will get back to you" Huh? Yeah sure. I got her room number. By the way they couldnt find her in the system!!!!!! I was like "She checked in yesterday morning at 3 am.
them "Did she have the baby?"

me- "I dont know. Neither my mom or I have heard anything and we are getting worried"

them "Oh... well there she is. she is in room 248. I cant put you directly through. Let me put you through to concierge."

me "They just hung up on me"

them "Oh sorry, just tell them you are her sister and her room number is 248"

- then I get put through to voice mail.

I swear I am more than happy now that I had a scheculed c sect. Took the worry away from my mom. I can hear the worry in her voice now.

So no one knows if she has even had the baby???? That is just weird. If she hasn't there is something seriously wrong with the staff at that hospital.

Mom called and got a lady who transferred her right to the room. Phone just rang and rang. No one picked up. So now my mom is upset with my BIL as well.

So. mom is heading out to do some errands and is then going over to the hospital to find out what is going on. I mean at this point we are both very worried.
I am also checking the hospitals online nursery and seeing if the baby has been born.

It sounds like the staff there at the hospital are very irresponsible. I would have called back yelling at them. Not that that would do any good but I would have felt better.

still no news. I told my mom that she had better be able to get some info or I am going to be heading down.
Again, very happy I didnt have my dd there and had a scheduled c sect. No waiting around for info.
