Only 3 didnt develope at all and one was cracked in shipping.
Thanks on the advice from all, I was told the #2 hen was a mutt maybe that is why you guys can't agree.
The nesting boxs seem good, none of the girls have laid in over a week. Is that normal? or was I sold hens that are old or bad layers?

What should I breed them with?
I am hatching silver duckwing oegb, so should i breed the 1st hen with them when they are grown??

She isn't brown red because she isn't black. About 98% of the time, black fowl will have black legs. All of the birds crossed with black, or brown red, have black legs (most of the time).

Brassyback's are much darker than the hen usually, even in the pictures posted above you can tell that the brassyback hen is considerably darker, and has black legs. Does the hen in question have black or white legs?

Look at the eyes of the original posters bird, the eyes are red. Black, brassyback, and brown red's typically will have a brown eye coloration. I will say, it is very likely that the hen may be a cross of the two varieties, but when comparing she shows more of the BBred, than brassyback. Even Quail doesn't match her, only BBred. I've seen her coloration appear in American gamefowl hatch families, which are known for being BBred fowl, it isn't the correct coloration of BBred, but it is possible.

I was thinking BB Red on the second hen but I've never seen one with a black neck before.

Oooh, Whiskey Bay, those are some gorgeous birds you have! I love this breed and all the different color variations you can get. They are such elegant little birds, too.

what should i breed them with can I breed hen 1 and the roo with other silver duck wings?

If I can breed them with silver duckwings will they be show quality???

Well, there is a few fine differences between Golden duckwing & Silver duckwing

According to my findings, golds tend to have a darker breast. They also tend to have darker, more defined black stripping on there hackles. I believe your hen is a Silver

The second hen is Not a Brown red by a million miles. It Doesn't look like a brassy back either, I'm thinking very badly marked BBred...
