Brassyback's are much darker than the hen usually, even in the pictures posted above you can tell that the brassyback hen is considerably darker, and has black legs. Does the hen in question have black or white legs?
Look at the eyes of the original posters bird, the eyes are red. Black, brassyback, and brown red's typically will have a brown eye coloration. I will say, it is very likely that the hen may be a cross of the two varieties, but when comparing she shows more of the BBred, than brassyback. Even Quail doesn't match her, only BBred. I've seen her coloration appear in American gamefowl hatch families, which are known for being BBred fowl, it isn't the correct coloration of BBred, but it is possible.
