my old chicken is sick she is throwing up & her comb is turning purple

she is the largest of all for my 12 and the other chicken died about 4 years ago
(could it be an infection) i pray it is not the bird flu

4 years ago seems like an awful long time to be affected, then carried on 4 years later....idk...sorry...any vets on here

I had an older chick vomit once, it was when it was hot out and she'd been drinking water, then I had to chase her to catch her. I think she'd just drunk too much water. Little piggy! lol

she is constantly vomiting and it not very hot here so i dont know

the "bird flu" is not even in the USA yet,, could be just old age.

4 years rules out an incubation period. I'm really stumped. MAYBE... she ate something poisonous?

im going to call a vet today so hopefully he will know what to do
she made it through the night but she is weak now but she is still standing

the other chickens are not pecking

she is doing much better today moving and not vomiting but the tips of her comb are still black
