I thought this chicken was for sure a girl since her hatch mate had a MUCH bigger comb. She was also the most docile chick who LOVED being held, and even now is calm and pretty submissive. She’s low on the totem pole and challenges none of the other chickens.

She crowed at me 3 times this morning at 10.5 weeks old. Turns out Lolli is a Larry? He’s much bigger than all my other chickens, but I chalked that up to being a different breed. I was looking forward to having Olive eggs, and loved his beautiful, iridescent feathers.

What a pretty boy. I have a Layla turned Larry quite close in age.
Though my Larry has been crowing for weeks and has much bigger wattles, an ugly s shaped comb, and a more slender shape...same colouring as yours even.
