My ornament ducks

had to move the ruddy in with the general population the other day didn't think to much of it since it was mainly the peacocks guineas and a couple Muscovys lol he tried to act like he was big stuff but the peacocks soon put him in his place!

that's cool! Makes me want them even more Where did you get yours? and how many do you have? 

I got a pair from a man in Tennessee they were very nice and obviously well taken care of sadly soon after the female was shot by duck hunters I'll be buying a female this spring along with either a pair of radjahs or paradise from a man in Texas or from pinola since their both in driving distance for me I'll have to just compare. The prices

poor girl (and boy)...That so sad!

What would a good price for a pair be? Also, would you suggest me letting them be with my 12 domestic ducks, or are they enough different that i should make them their own place? Either way would be easy for me Thanks!

If your going to get a pair of ruddys then I would say no they might kill them domestics

at pinola they run for 100 a pair! Which is a good price I paid 200 for mine

But my male was housed with some guineas and Muscovys for a couple of days and all he ever did was give a little nibble kinda like just a get out the way type deal BUT he doesn't have a mate and he doesn't have any babies he might want to protect

thanks!! I hope so too! I will, though it might be a little while (not the ones i found). I am working on putting in a fence around the entire property. Big project lol!
