My Pallet Coop

This is the swing out door for access to the coop. It was scavenged off the crate that I mentioned upthread.

And, the coop thus far, (I removed the swing out door since I had to fix the frame, but will reattach tonight hopefully.

I know this picture isn't great, but my wife is concerned the nesting box is too high for them. Everything I read says otherwise, but what do you think? Its hard to see but its on the back wall and the walls are 4' tall.

That video was rigged to have a space between the pallet boards and the runners, not how it really is in real life.

Yeah...I did borrow a sawzal last night and it is the fastest way but you still need to wedge one way or another to get the blade in there. Still took the hammer and a wedge before getting the saw in there.

Its only a failure if you don't learn. Hopefully more pics tonight of a coop nearing completion.

I was about done when this happened. Trying to right it the roof tore off as well, and a few of the framing pieces need to be replaced.
