My experience...

If you cut the nest half way in to "GO around the Tree", when you put it back together, get a nice Heavy duty nylon and tie the net where the part is at the tree, and then sew the net back together. Go to one end and then back with the Nylon string. THen get Zip ties and place it every 2 or 3 feet for "added" security. That should hold very nicely.

One more thing... Once your done with your net... the part that hangs over the fence... DON'T CUT IT. Instead, roll it up to the top of the fence and secure it with a Zip tie. If you cut it, it may run and damage the roof. All my Over hang nets are rolled up and secured at the top of the fence with zip ties. Now if you have an over hang of 5 feet or more, then leave a hang of at least 2 to 4 feet and cut the rest off and save for later.

Hope that helps.

Lowes and HD have black irrigation tubing for sprinklers tht you can buy a fitting (double male ) used to connect two lengths together. Form a circle out of it to place around the tree and connect the netting to. L brackets or plumbers straping can be used to hold the ring to the tree if needed.

Here's more pictures. It is 98% done I need to run the yard timber around the outside bottom and the trim where the 2 sets of wires meet. Then I install my scarecrow sprinklers and I am done.

As you can see it did get it around the tree and between the tree. I also put wire mest between the 3 tree trunks for more added safety. I will also be putting something around the 3 trees so the netting never slips off the nails.

Great job getting it around the trees! It looks really beautiful I am glad you could incorporate the tree. The peafowl will love the shade it will give them!
