my pekin laid her first spring egg and immediately prolapsed. help!!

I am SINCERELY amazed, but my dear Phoebe made it through her procedure alive. She is very weak but the vet thought it seemed what would be expected. I will update with some photos soon.
 
Unfortunately I spoke too soon. Phoebe survived the procedure but died a bit after. I think it was just too much for her body. She was given paid meds so my hope was that she wasn’t in pain.
 
Thanks all. The vet was able to remove an egg that was within the prolapse, reverse the prolapse, and then stitch her closed slightly. We knew it was a long shot but we did our best for her. I think she was just too weak and it was too far advance of a prolapse. We did everything we could do.
