My personal experience of keeping a rooster in an anti rooster neighborhood!

You can want to keep your pet, but is it fair to your neighbours? You are disturbing their lives on a daily basis. If your neighbour had a dog that barked all night long, would you appreciate it? A dog can be trained, a rooster can't. There are reasons that owning a rooster is illegal inside most town limits.

On top of wanting to keep your pet, you stooped to dishonest means that again, affects other people in a very negative way. I'm sorry, but your actions seem extremely selfish.

I don’t think it’s a bad thing to have chickens or dogs, ducks, or whatever to help you relax and unwind. Calling it an emotional support animal is a little iffy though. Isn’t this why we all have pets?

She straight up said that she did it just to keep the rooster, not because she needed it.

The rooster does act as an animal that brings the family joy. The family that owned him is an older couple, and hearing the crow helps them a bunch. Just not a medical condition thing.

Maybe I’m nuttier than I thought then because I have over 100 roosters crowing all the time.

Nutty folks? Not everyone that has an emotional support animal is nutty.
I'm not nutty in the least and I have an emotional support Mexican jumping bean.
Whenever I get down or depressed I get it out of my pocket and put it on the table. Man that little dude will hop around and get me giggling like a school girl. I don't think I could be a contributing member of society without my little bouncing bean.

I love those little bouncing beans. I've had mine since I was a little schoolgirl!

I had one of those as a kid. Must've been a cheap China knockoff version of the real thing.. It never ever moved.
