It's still really early, but Day 3, and every egg is developing.
So exciting! Can't wait to see those babies!
Congrats! I'm so happy for you. Please keep us updated.
Thanks, I am excited too!
Well, Day 7. Everyone is still developing. It's faint to see in the "super blue Egger"(and has been), but it's still there. These are easier to candle then I thought.
Day 13 today: 7/7 are still developing!
What did you do before you set them? How long did you let them sit, etc?
After I got them(they hadn't been held at PO as they should of), I candled them, the air cells weren't too bad, only a couple where saddle-like. I let them sit pointy down only for Monday night. Tuesday morning I brought them into the school(after having to repackage them in foam since the bubble wrap they came with was cut up by me). I set them Tuesday.
So I didn't let them settle too long, and the humidity was low(30%?). I think the okay air cells really helped. The eggs weren't very porus either.
Yesterday was Day 17. I am still very surprised that all 7 are there. I have never had this many eggs make it this far, even the local ones. Tuesday is Day 21, I am very excited.
Though all of my poor hatch rates yield more females... I guess we will see.
Fingers crossed! I really hope they do well for you!
