My Pet Chicken....waiting....

My 30 chicks shipped at 2:12pm monday (29th). The tracking number confirmed that usps recieved a notification.

And has not updated since. My local PO was not helpful, and im worried.

The chicks have been on the road for 43 hours. Its an 18 hour drive. Thats 25 hours of transfer time.

Is this normal? Does usps just not use the track and confirm part of their own site? :/

You should get them today - newborn chicks can handle 3 days without food and water as long as it isn't too warm.

Its 10:03am and already 89 degrees. Thats why im worried! Why even give a tracking number? This is agony!

Okay-they left the sorting facility an hour away from me at 11:01am....its 12:41pm now....

That really isn't a tracking #, it is just a # to confirm it arrived at its destination. Sometimes they update it, but often times not.
