Yesterday me and my best friend wooingwyandotte wrote this verse:

Life is bound by such short years
Yet the rose of friendship blossoms for eternity
Though the rose has its thorns and briers
The blossom stays ever so sweet
As is the rose of friendship
And the thorns of strife
Twisted together to form beautiful rose
