My poor chicken is VERY sick Please help

Can anyone tell me what I should do? My golden comet looks so sad and miserable. I have gotten books from the library but am still not sure what to do. I am going today to get an antibiotic but what kind should I get? Her eyes have a white look to her bottom lid. Her comb is looking pale and a little scabby. She stays bunched up and no energy.

How old is she? Is she eating or having diarrhea or blood in her poop? Have you wormed her recently? Have you checked inside her vent with a finger inserted 1 inch inside her vent for a stuck egg? She looks sick, possibly from coccidiosis or worms, but she could also be dehydrated or egg bound. I would also check her skin for signs of mites or tiny bugs. I would get some Corid (amprollium) and put it in her water to treat her coccidiosis. Dosage is 2 tsp of liquid Corid, or 1.5 tsp of the powder per gallon of water for 5 day. Mix fresh each day. If she isn't drinking then give her some undiluted Corid--a couple of drops twice a day, and give the mixed liquid to her with a dropper or syringe.

She hasn't been herself for a bit. I thought it was blocked crop and I massaged it and fed her yogurt, olive oil and crumbles mushed up in the oil. She seemed to get a bit better but never for long. She was eating and drinking fine until this morning but that's because she can't walk now. Not egg bound. She had had disrreah for a bit.
I awoke to her this morning extremely lethargic, her bottom eyelids look white and swollen, her iris looks grayish. She can't walk just stands there and when she tries to take a step her leg goes behind her and she falls over. She appears to be sleeping constant. It's breaking my heart.

Those symptoms sound a bit like Mareks disease. Hopefully it's something less serious, but if her eye color is changing to gray, and she is has balance issues and lameness, that could be her problem. Was she vaccinated for it? Could you post a picture of her eyes? I would give her poultry vitamins in her water in case of a deficiency affecting her legs, and make sure that she is getting layer feed. You may want to contact your state vet about necropsy costs to see if you would like to get testing done if she doesn't live. Here is a link for that:

With Mareks, they can suffer from a myriad of symptoms, but crop stasis is common, and they have less immunity to common diseases such as cocci. Sorry that you are dealing with this. Here are some links to read about Mareks if you haven't seen them:

Thank you for the links. I am most certain it is Marek's. My husband just got home and couldn't stand to see her suffering and with a 100% death rate he just now culled her
