my pug is in labor- 2 so far 8/24/08

lol yes pug would have to be the boy. I havent heard of them though. but they are my 2 favorite breeds. we must be neighbors but then again greenfield is small. m on washington street

Oh we are totally not neighbors, I'm right near the Bernardston line

opposite directions. How is your pug doing. Whats her name? Do you know where the dinosaur rock & fossil shop is on 5&10? if you go past that about 1/2 mile to a mile on the right is the ER. I just thought you should know but i obviously hope you dont need it.

well she just woke me up with the sound of roughling newspaper I have on her bedding. I got the coffee brewing. She finally has some fluid showing Not sac just wet fluid. She keeps spinning trying to reach her head to her bottom area but her belly is so fat she cant reach too good. Her name is annabelle. She isnt breathing hard but maybe shes just a dog that is calm for birth. besides she usually asleep all night snoring. My other female had some a while back and her first one was huge and born dead but 3 more healthy babies came after.Im hoping no huge ones.

Puppies soon! I hope everything goes smoothly! Maybe call your vet as soon as they open to give them a heads up that she's in labor, just in case of an emergency.. Don't forget to take pics of the birth..

I will post pics she has fluid there but no stress, no water broke yet. She woke me up at 2am nesting. shes sleeping now but no snoring so not to deep of a sleep lol. my work just called to see if I could come in but no cant leave the dog, I would not want to be at work if she needs me. her temp is 99.4. I hate the waiting. she ate a little lobster last night and a little dog food. Oh yeah my vet is always there her office is hooked to the house.

No puppies yet I think I jumped the gun. But she finally started leaking a little fluid and was up and down all night last night. She was panting at 9 last night but is resting quietly now. her belly has dropped for 2 days now. temp was 99 yesterday. laST NIGHT dh SAID "didn't you watch,wait and think its today for 4 days last time"

. Hes right I get nervous at the first sign its near. I checked on her every 2 hours last night. I will post when her water breaks then we know they are on there way.
