Nice cage setup you got going on there.
Do the Lovebirds ever hurt the quail because I have some lovebirds too?
And was wondering if I could put them togther.
Pretty dog too.

no the lovebirds don't pay that much attention to the quail but do like their food so my quail are pretty same with them but with my parakeet it's a whole different story they like to climg on my coturnix quail back a take the feather a nd had one do some damage once but shes cured now so i would say no to parakeets and yes to lovebirds just keep an eye on therm just in case.

I had always wanted to put them together since my aviary is big but always thought the lovebirds would hurt the quail.
Never thought the parakeets would be the ones messing with the quail.

I've kept the buttons with parakeets and wondered how they did with coturnix. Do the coturnix bother the birds when they do come down?

no the coturnix don't bother the parakeets but the other way around the parakeet like to ride and bite their heads and if left alone can do some really bad damage atleast thats what mine do
