Fairy egg with thin/no shell and poop instead of yolk

I found this in my Quail cage today. I don't know which of my Quail this came from, and I'm not worried at all about the bird, I just think this is cool.

It's a fairy egg that has a thin layer of calcium on the outside. My birds are definitely getting more than enough calcium. It has a dark patch on the side that looked like it could've been something in the 'egg', but on closer inspection it appears to be a failed attempt at adding colour to the shell. There was nothing but yolk inside it.
The birds are all acting normal.

It's quite wierd, I thought it was poop when I first saw it!

Yes
I put it in there so the egg didn't get on the table. It didn't have any 'runny egg white', just the kind of solid bit. I wish it had a shell, it would've been so cool!

Not an uncommon thing in my experience. Unless they start showing up on a regular basis, I wouldn’t be too concerned.

It more than likely came from a new layer a got one a bit ago by a bit I mean like a week or two ago.

Oh wait I just remembered you don’t have any new layers so it was just a hiccup in one of your hens laying it happens from time to time

I don't have any new layers, they have all been laying for at least 3 months, some more.
