My quail egg hasn't hatched yet it's 20 days today

Thankyou so much for your help if it wasn't for you I don't know what I would do 🙏❤️you are truly amazing 🤩 does it still need to be humid in there ? She's trying to find her feet I think . Yes she was helping me while I was helping her out she was really stuck it was really hard to break xx
Aww thanks
I would keep the humidity at the same as how it was just so you don't shock her too much

Yes I've now put it up to 37.8 that is what it was when she was in the egg
Sorry to contradict what I said but 37.8 does seem very hot I would turn it down to 37.5

Congratulations!

How is she doing? Is she walking around now?

Photos!!

If so, put her in the brooder. Do you have a heat plate or lamp?

Provide her with water, be sure to put rocks or marbles in the dish so she doesn't drown, Quail love to get into water.
Give her Gamebird Starter to eat.

@Blue is my chicken wonderful job stepping in and giving clear instructions! Thank you!

She is absolutely fine yes all fluffy now , she did a poop on me less than 6 hours after birth . I'm so proud of myself I really am this is the first time in my life to a assist a hatch let alone a bird she is beautiful ❤️ constantly looking for me she is running around 🤣or trying to anyway . Finally when I went to sleep I noticed she had gone to sleep so that is good cause I was a bit worried that if she constantly wants me then she will not sleep . I can't stop laughing at her though she is just the cutest thing in the world 😍will show photos later thankyou again xx

I think she thinks I'm her mum 😯😂she's so adorable thankyou for all your help ❤️🙏
Your welcome and yes she definitely think of you as her mum you (and what ever family live with you) are her only friend/s do try and try too find her some quail friends so she is not completely dependent on you, I had a call duckling that hatched on her own she was a week old before we found her friends and by that point she was totally dependent on me and hated when I left her in her cage, she spent most of her time with me, she followed me around and had managed to escape her cage to get to me, after we managed to find her some friends she ate more she drank more she played more and she was happy to be in her cage, it made my life so much easier

Good luck and definitely post more of those adorable baby pictures
