You will need some very small tweezers, a screw, some kitchen paper, a few cotten buds and coconut oil
Set up a place to work ,place some paper towel down and get all you equipment ready (sterilise your tweezers and screw by boiling some water and dipping them in it and wash your hands well)
Shine a light into the egg like you are candling (but keep the egg flat don't tip it at all) and mark where the air sac is this is your safe zone there should be no blood vessels
Use your screw to poke the cracked part of the shell just mind her beak don't put it in too deep only the very tip, it is to break the outer membrane incase she has not yet it can be hard
Using the external pip as a starting point, start to chip away the shell over the air cell. If at any point you hit blood during this procedure, stop, apply gentle pressure with a cotten bud to the bleeding area until it stops, and then take a break for an hour or two and come back later. If you stay over the air cell, though, you should not hit blood. Once you have the air cell chipped away apply your coconut oil to the internal membrane surrounding the chick. This will both keep things moist and allow you to see whether the veins have receded and the blood has been absorbed. If the chick is making yawning or eating motions, it's still absorbing the yolk. Leave it alone for now.

I have taken this from https://www.backyardchickens.com/articles/guide-to-assisted-hatching-for-all-poultry.72886/ with a few changes that I do
