I agree, the PO is brutal, but without sufficient packing= scrambled mess I don't think they are friendly to any packages, they will fall off conveyors\ hrown up in trucks not matter what is labeled\\written on the box..it is all a crap shoot with shipped eggs. I just expect proper packing.

I have good luck candling them in a dark closet with a regular small flashlight with electrical tap around the bulb. I had a few rotton ones the other day, they were seeping and oozing

I got the eggs in the cooker late last night, after going over them again looking for cracks(found a few more that I missed). I am not turning them for a couple of day just to give 'em a chance to settle. We'll see how it goes.
