My quail eggs came in today...

I also got some eggs from Ebay, 110 out of which I put 54 in the incubator, the rest was just awful.... but the seller agreed to pack better and resend. I wonder if I am going to hatch anything from them.....

we won the red bobwhite and white bobwhite auctions on ebay, great shipping, great hatch rates. my one ebay quail experience, sounds like we got lucky and got a good seller/shipper.

user name Elbert5557 did have red tenn bobwhites on ebay now. like I said, great shipping, great hatch ~70%+

did not see that he had any coturnix, white, brown or other.


I also have some jumbo bobwhite chicks fom JJ here on the forum, they are bigger so far than the reds and whites. (bobwhites)

several folks here on the forum ship hatching eggs of all types, coturnix, bobwhites, etc. look them up.

I agree, the PO is brutal, but without sufficient packing= scrambled mess I don't think they are friendly to any packages, they will fall off conveyors\ hrown up in trucks not matter what is labeled\\written on the box..it is all a crap shoot with shipped eggs. I just expect proper packing.
