So do their city ordinances for keeping chickens in DSM. One place says I can only have 3 but then later it says as long as the "housing" is more than 25 feet from habitated structures I can have up to 30 chickens, ferrets, falcons, rabbits, turkey, etc. with no more than 2 species.

I looked on the Iowa DNR web page the other day about different gaming liscense and there was something about getting a permit to raise some kind of game bird. But I don't know if it was for raising and releasing or just raising.

I love the hearing about Quail.
I like the buttens.
I Was woundering if someone could tell me all that you need to do to keep butten quail?

Deerman can you tell me which is which? I know which are the white ones. And the guy that I got the eggs from said that they were Texas A&M he gave me a few right out of their cage. Are they still Texas A&M but those are the specific colors? Thank you for all of the help.

UPDATE!
I lost one over the night, it was from a very tiny egg. I was surprised it even hatched.

Tuxedo next to the water cap. 2nd and 3rd starting at top left to right. Are Pharoah.

Dont see them being A&M. May be a cross. If A&M they will be larger than the others.
They maybe just Whites.
