I think it's really strange. I put 2 cubes of the rat killer in the trap and it's gone in the morning. This has gone on for about 10 days right now. Anyone have an idea?

rats are clever they don't get trapped that easily and found ways to steal the food

at least it was poison they will die else where

It was the bait. Someone told me to get the dark green chunks rather than the light green ones, I put one out the night before last and found a dead rat yesterday.

Yea!

The way to use bait is put it out until it's not getting eaten anymore, it takes a while to kill them.

Since I started putting the darker green (Tomcat) bait out, I've been finding dead rats, and my coop has an odor underneath it. It must have been the lighter green bait. I was putting 2 chunks out there every night for about 3 weeks.

Now I'm down to just a few nibbles here and there. I bought another bait station. Those things are really working for me.

Do you put the bait stations right in the coop?
Wouldn't the rats rather eat the chicken feed rather than the poison? How did you do this?
