no-spill bucket with elbows in.

Looking in, had to take out shelving i had there.

Feeder, sorry for blur. Green is cheap roping to hold plastic mesh to bucket. I don't have a top yet, I have to make one

heat dog bowl, container in it has salt water, just testing till so cold I have to plug it in.

This is the inside upper. I wanted to show how you can use that space for storage. Spaces are for air to rise and I have shavings and some other things up there. You can also see I have hooks on the mesh to hang lightweight things up and out of the way.

Obviously I didn't get to the deck, but got wood out from run and off the the side for the pond, raked.
In the front yard to pulled tomato plants. Moved wire fence around new grass area to along the driveway to keep hens IN.

The Terra Cotta big pot is suppose to be a Rain barrel, but the top is closed so you can put a plant on it. There is nothing in it right now. I got it for free and am using it to close off that corner so i don't have escapees.
My compost pile is in the front of the house in the 'garden area' where the hens scratch. So now I just dump stuff there. Nice thing is it is just outside the window... gah I am so lazy

Damn hens WERE in the pic when I started but ran away. Silly hens.

I have not gone out in the shed yet to check on the water trick. I let them out at 9am and will check then.
I have so much to do today with getting my metal carport up... alone

@Soon2BChixMom When i went out at 9 it was not frozen, nor any ice. So I guess it worked for around 26 degrees Inside the coop.
Will update when it gets cold again. I think Friday night will get down to 25 at night so will update

put up old carport frame to hold up netting, and will possibly put up some roofing panels over first few feet from coop

I just made a post regarding how to mod a resin shed and then was directed here. Doh! I totally forgot that I follow this thread!

What did you use to cut out the pop door and I assume extra vents?

Do you think this will get too hot in the summer?

Also, did you finish off the pop door? How did you go about that? My husband says plastic is sharp if the cut edge is left open, so how did you frame your pop door?

It wouldn't be sharp, but it would be visually and structurally unacceptable IMO. I cut a door opening in a metal shed I have, and that was sharp. So I finished it by bending the edges over. Plastic could be finished with some kind of C-channel material. Personally, I wouldn't cut a pop door in a plastic shed. I'd rather frame a wall in one of the door openings and cut a hole in that.

Resin shed walls are structurally more sound than metal sheds.
Both are trickier to work with than wood,
but it can be done...with care and forethought.

A sharp edge from cutting plastic can be sanded down to take the edge off.
